Camille Neveux
Camille Neveux is a French writer, journalist and translator, with a degree in Literary Arabic. She worked for over 15 years at the national broadsheets Journal du Dimanche and Libération, latterly as deputy head of international news. She has led reports and investigations in Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, on the Turkish-Syrian and Syrian-Lebanese borders, and Saudi Arabia, among others. She is the author of An Orchard in Damascus (JC Lattès, 2024; Le Livre de Poche, 2025), which was longlisted for the Prix Maison de la presse and nominated for an Albertine Foundation translation grant.
