For fiction submissions, please include a covering letter telling us about yourself and a bit of background on the book, a brief synopsis, and the first three chapters or first fifty pages of the work.

For non-fiction submissions, please include a full outline explaining what the book is about and why you are best placed to write it, and one sample chapter.

While we acknowledge that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, used judiciously, can be a useful research tool, submissions must be the original work of the author and not generated or co-written using AI.

If you would like to submit your work for consideration, please browse our agent pages to find the agent best suited to you and address your submission to submissions@ajafr.com with their name in the subject line. Please only submit to one agent. We do not accept postal submissions.

You will receive an auto reply confirming receipt of your query (do check your junk/spam). Please do not call to check on the status of your submission and for any questions or concerns relating to your submission, only use the above email address. Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, unfortunately we are unable to provide individual feedback at this time. If you do not receive a response from us within four months, it means a no from the agency.
